entrance to the Gaslamp Quarter, on the block bounded by Fifth and Sixth
avenues, L and K streets. All 420 suites will be sold to individual buyers,
and once open in Summer 2007, will operate as a 4-diamond hotel. The project
includes 12-stories, 40,000 square feet of banquet space, 25,000 square feet
of retail space, a pool, a Rande Gerber inspired sky bar overlooking
Gaslamp,and a 7,000 square-foot music venue. It will include NOBU signature
restaurant, full service spa and fitness center, and underground parking for
280 cars. The project will also include the restoration of the National City
Otay Railroad Depot building. Construction and sales are underway with
completion targeted for fall 2007. |
